教學目標：本課程較著重於實作。適合已修習數值分析課程的學生。
本課程將介紹(複習)MATLAB/Simulink軟體。
本課程將推廣自由軟體架構之數值軟體(SciLab, FreeMat)以及Polymath(shareware)。
化學工程領域中數值方法使用的時機，並能以上述軟體進行求解。
