教學目標：The purpose of this course is to (a) introduce graduate students to different research methods in design research, and (b) guide students in the development and preparation of their research proposal. The course will involve weekly lectures and discussions as well as a series of paper reading assignments that will lead towards a two page draft thesis proposal. Students are expected to actively participate during the course discussions. Each student should totally read 12 papers and summery each one by critical form, otherwise each student is going to select one to present. End of this semester students will have to submit a tow page draft thesis proposal and have a final presentation.
