教學目標：本課程以工程及產品設計為主題，向學生介紹材料與設計實務的兩大重點（一）材料選用的考量、原則並製程的影響以及（二）材料失效的原因、分析方法以及預防策略。除了材料性質相關理論以外，課程將以多個案分析強化學生對真實工程問題的處理能力。
