教學目標：主要針對光學與電學之材料系統與原理進行介紹，此外，也會進行分組討論，讓小組們可以在每次上課後進行討論，了解每次上課的重點。
此外，也會請業師進行授課，會請業師介紹有關LED光學材料相關知識，以及請業師講授有關光學材料以及成本的觀念。
