教學目標：Social Design is an emerging design research field. In the last ten years design practitioners and researchers have started to explore what role design could have in social change processes that contribute to social innovation and sustainability. This course will examine circular economy, ethical and social issues in design, as well as the impact of globalization. Students will engage in theoretical discussions, study important design examples, and develop class projects by design strategies. In the course, students will learn digital clay 3D printing, mold design, and other manufacturing processes and apply them to design projects.
