教學目標：1、從美國內政、外交、經濟、文化和社會五大面向對此課程作一認識。
2、運用各種案例研究了解美國對國際情勢的影響發展與未來走向。
3、認識美國社會現象及問題，並培養學生關懷社會、歷史與文化之胸襟，進而尊重不同文化。
