教學目標:This course aims to provide students majoring in design with foundational knowledge in design thinking and methodologies. It will help students learn how to systematically approach and solve design problems. The course will cover various stages of the design process, including problem definition, research, concept generation, design practice, and evaluation. Through a combination of theory and practice, students will learn to apply design methods to develop innovative solutions. Regular lectures, group discussions, student presentations and semester projects (could be part of workshops) will be employed in this class to fulfill course objectives.
