Course Plan
教學目標:Photocatalysis is currently an extremely active and constantly growing research area. This course initiated with principles of light, catalytic reaction, semiconductor and photoelectrochemistry that serving as the important pillars in photocatalysis. Advanced knowledge in regards to the mechanisms, active species, kinetics and methods of improving photocatalytic activity would also be covered, at the same time providing hands-on opportunities for photocatalyst preparation and activity evaluation to deepen students’ understanding. Potential applications would also be discussed, with current advancements in photocatalysis being critically-reviewed.
