Course Plan

教學目標:The primary goal of this course is to provide students with a fundamental understanding of the physical principles governing fluid motion and heat transfer and how these principles are applied to the design and operation of industrial equipment. Upon successful completion of this course, students will be able to: 1. Master Fundamentals: Apply Mass, Energy, and Momentum balances to industrial processes. 2. Predict Behavior: Use the Reynolds Number and friction factors to calculate pressure drops in piping and packed beds. 3. Equipment Evaluation: Understand the mechanics and selection criteria for pumps, filters, and settling tanks. 4. Safety & Intuition: Identify operational hazards like cavitation and water hammer before they occur. 5. Professional Literacy: Read industrial P&IDs and bridge the gap between textbook theory and plant reality.
