教學目標:This course focuses on Taiwan’s multicultural landscape by examining the historical backgrounds, cultural characteristics, and social interactions among various ethnic groups, including Indigenous peoples, Hoklo (Min-Nan), Hakka, and new immigrant communities. Students will explore issues related to cultural identity, ethnic relations, language policies, migration, and social equity, considering how culture is constructed and represented in society. Through reflection and dialogue, the course encourages students to recognize cultural differences, avoid stereotypes, and develop respect and inclusive perspectives. The course ultimately aims to enhance intercultural understanding and communication skills and support a more inclusive and harmonious society.
